Welcome to the PTA homepage. We are a small group of hard working parents and school staff who meet a few times a term to organise fund raising events such as the Christmas and summer Fayre, Bluebell walk and our incredibly popular jumble sales. Our aim is to enrich the learning of all the children by paying for or contributing towards school trips, school visitors, play equipment, outdoor and garden equipment, computer software, kitchen equipment and much much more!

DATE OF OUR NEXT MEETING : Thursday 15th September - 7pm at the school. We are a very small friendly group so please come along, we would love to hear your ideas.

Most Recent Event : Summer fayre

2010 Christmas Fayre The children began by singing carols and songs. Everyone then went busily round the hall buying Christmas gifts and table decorations, toys and games, cakes and sweets, or took part in the various tombolas, had a delicious burger or a well earned cup of tea. It was a very enjoyable event.

Jumble Sale
On Saturday the 6th November we held a jumble sale in the village hall. We filled the room with all kinds of jumble from toys and books to small pieces of furniture and kitchenware.
It was well attended and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves as they hunted for bargins. we raised around £400, which is fantastic!
Many thanks to all the helpers before and on the day.

Clapham and Patching Village Day
On Saturday 19th of June the whole village came together for a fantastic fun filled day. Our stalls opened at 10am, we served ploughmans lunches from midday which were very popular and we finally packed away at around 3.30. However, the day was far from over, there was a hog roast, live bands, beer tent, strawberries and cream right through till around 10pm. It was a very successful day and hopefully it is something we can be involved in again.
News on how much we raised will follow soon.

Bluebell Walk
This is a great family event and a lovely way for the children and their families to get together outside of school. We all met at the church and began our walk through the beautiful Clapham woods, it was a dry sunny day and the bluebells looked stunning. We followed the arrows around the woods and made our way down to the wonderful Lighthouse Cafe. A treat awaited us all - homemade biscuits, delicious cold orange juice and tea or coffee for the grown ups! The children who seemed to have plenty of energy left ran off to play at the park whilst the mums, dads and friends had time to relax!
It was a fantastic day and enjoyed by all.
